About Ms. Kelly This is my 20th year in education and my 10th year with Dripping Springs ISD. My family moved to Dripping Springs in 2004. I have two very active boys and one lovable dog that keep me very busy. My oldest son is in ninth grade and my youngest is in fifth grade. My hobbies include reading, running, and working on home improvement projects. I started running a few years ago with a goal to complete a half marathon, since then I have run in three Disney half marathons. Most of all, I love spending time with my family.
Educational Biography I graduated from Bandera High School and then attended Southwest Texas State University (now known as Texas State). I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Science Education. My first year teaching was with San Marcos High School. I then began working with Sylvan Learning Centers as a Center Director and Director of Education. I have earned my teaching certificates in EC-4 and Special Education k-12. After nine years with Sylvan Learning Center, I took some time off to become a mom. I returned to teaching in 2008 as a third grade teacher with Dripping Springs ISD at Walnut Springs Elementary. I completed my Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Angelo State University in December 2015, and I am a certified School Counselor. I am so excited about teaching at Sycamore Springs Elementary.
